Medard’s House - A New Chapter

The Problem: The current Medard’s House video doesn’t reflect the reality of what the organization has developed into and needs to be retired to an “Our History” page of the website.

The Solution:

I'd suggest we make a video with a similar feel to this video I created for the Whitaker Center in downtown Harrisburg.

We’ll weave together a story from 2-3 interviews of staff who are currently working directly with the kids at Medards house, & an interview with the architect who helped with the redesign.

The outcome will be a video that:

1. Touches on the heroic “against all odds” origins of Medard’s House.

2. Quickly moves into the success & challenges it's facing now.

3. Expresses the vision for the future so that investors can feel like they are an integral part of the next phase of the endeavor.

The main difference between this video and the first video is that you now have an actual prototype up & running with staff, a dedicated building, etc. That will help us convey the story visually. Last time we relied on the viewers imagination to put the pieces together, this time we can show them footage of kids having fun in the current Medard's House & show them animations of the blueprints/renderings of the next phase.

My goal is to create a five minute, inspirational film that has a strong call to action at the end to donate & get involved directly.

The logistics to do such a project are:

Pre-Production | 1-2 Weeks

Planning/scheduling shoot days

Conducting remote "pre-interviews" as needed

Coordinating crew, equipment, editing, etc.

Post-Production | 1-2 Weeks.

2 weeks of editing

2 sets of collaborative revisions/notes from your team

1 week of final color grading and sound mixing

Production | 2-3 Days

1/2 day @ Medards House for interviews

1/2 day @ Medards House for footage of activities

1/2 day @ the architects firm for interviews

Misc Logistics

The project price for this is all-inclusive. Costs for crew, equipment, music licensing, graphical animations, secure-long-term footage backup, etc are all included.

Total Investment: $7,650

Split into two 50% installments. One up front, one upon final delivery.
