The Turbo Cola Story:

[How we created a micro-budget, award-winning, independant feature film in Central Pennsylvania]

TURBO COLA is based on the play “New Years Eve at the Stop N Go” written by Samantha Oty, adapted by Luke Covert & Matas Kiskis.

We filmed the entire movie in the middle of the night in New Cumberland, PA. Well, technically in the middle of 12-nights, in New Cumberland, PA.

That wildly fast shoot schedule was endured by a cast flown in from all over the country, and a closely knit crew pulled from PA & NY.

A few, but not all, of the difficulties encountered were: snow blizzards shutting down roadways, red bull energy drinks exploding all over cameras, and slushy machines that refused to break correctly.

After months of post production in the director’s home office, the film received a distribution deal through Giant Pictures, and began collecting a series of awards, culminating in “Best Indie Movie of the Year”.

At a budget level smaller than most feature film’s coffee bill, we’re happy to share this punk rock, coming of age, teen comedy / heist film.

Plus, Kevin Smith said: “Turbo Cola? I love that flick”. So that’s pretty neat.

If you’d like to support our project, the best thing you can do is leave a review on IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes, Amazon, Letterboxd, or Apple TV. Thank you!
