The creative process behind the Lagoon Lounger ad campaign:
Traditionally, commercials present a single, long-form video. This campaign, however, utilized ad sets – a strategy that allows for the creation of multiple, shorter ads tailored for different platforms and audiences. This allowed us to play with deliverables that incorporated the playful twist of a mermaid tail to stand out from competitor ads and accomplish creative approach.
We filmed a range of scenes: A dream sequence featuring a mermaid tail added a touch of whimsy, while close-up product shots highlighted the lounger's features. This variety provided the foundation for creating multiple ad formats, catering to viewers on social media, longer video platforms, and those seeking in-depth product information.
The Florida shoot presented a challenge: an unexpectedly cloudy day. To achieve a brighter aesthetic that aligned with the product's image, we used a powerful film lights to mimic warm sunlight.
This campaign demonstrates the effectiveness of ad sets and the importance of crafting diverse content. By combining creative concepts with more traditional projects shots we helped create a more balanced campaign for the product.
