The creative process behind “The Pursuit of Better”.

Wakeen & Company is a great marketing agency based in Harrisburg, PA. When they asked for my help writing and directing a video for their longtime client “C.S.,” I was excited, to say the least!

The challenge was difficult: we needed to take a historically dry subject (sustainability) and convey a lot of dense information… but we wanted to make it fun!

As the idea began to take shape, we landed on a few key factors. We were going to use both actors and real employees, and we were going to film in a large white studio with plenty of humorous props. After weeks of scripting, casting, prop building, and more, we shot for two full days.

The final touch was adding digital flames to our very real flamethrower.
